Kirkcaldy Photographic Society was established in 1895 and we are still going strong today, boasting almost 50 members. We meet every Monday at the Hayfield Community Centre from 7pm - 9pm, with a syllabus packed with exciting and fun activities that will appeal to all levels of photographers. We welcome new members to join us and be a part of our photography community.

In common with other photographic societies and camera clubs, we have a competitive side with internal monthly competitions, inter-club competitions and a judged annual exhibition.  We also have regular illustrated talks and demonstrations by both our own members and invited guests.

At Kirkcaldy Photographic Society, we encourage beginners (through practical nights) with tutorials and workshops.  We have also hosted private workshops for our keener members on printing and using Lightroom and Photoshop.

​

Our activities also include competing at national level and across Scottish Photographic Federation and PAGB competitions.  Photographic trips are organised at various points throughout the year taking into consideration time, tide, weather and of course events which members may wish to attend.  We have an abundance of experienced photographers who are happy to assist new members reach their photographic potential.
